My Role: Assistant Site Superintendent

As the Assistant Site Superintendent, I oversee a wide range of tasks, including scheduling, material logistics, safety compliance, and coordination with subcontractors. Working under the Site Superintendent, my role ensures the smooth daily operations of the project while fostering efficient communication among teams and ensuring the highest standards in construction quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Scheduling and Time Management: Oversaw the scheduling of tasks and ensured efficient time management across seven multi-unit residential buildings, keeping the project on track for timely completion.
Subcontractor Coordination: Directed and coordinated daily tasks for subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project timelines and facilitating inspections and walk-throughs to maintain quality standards.
Material Logistics and Staffing: Managed material logistics, maintained accurate inventory counts, and monitored subcontractor staffing to prevent delays and ensure project continuity.
Energy Star Compliance: Served as the liaison with Energy Star inspectors to ensure compliance with energy efficiency standards, assisting with inspections and addressing any inquiries or issues.
Safety Oversight: Supervised day labor teams and conducted routine safety walks to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring the site adhered to all safety protocols.
Bilingual Communication: Utilized Spanish language skills to enhance communication with diverse subcontractor teams, ensuring clear understanding and efficient collaboration.
Punch-List Walks: Conducted final punch-list walks to ensure that all aspects of the project met the required standards before client handover.
